LIJA Women’s Golf Clothes 2021

Ladies, we all know how difficult it can be to find high-end and comfortable golf clothes. Sure, we can shop for big brand names like Nike, but I think it’s good for us to support women’s golf fashion companies that genuinely care about making clothes that fit us well at a reasonable price. That’s why I’ve reviewed several women’s golf fashion companies over the past few years, including Course & Club, Foray Golf, Kinona and others. Although they all offer gorgeous golf shirts and skorts, my personal favorite is LIJA.

Reasons why LIJA Women’s Golf Clothes are my favorite:

  • It’s *actually* true to size. I never know if an XS is going to be an XS. There are many occasions I’ve had to visit a seamstress to get the waist tucked in. It’s not a huge deal, but LIJA’s clothes fits perfectly, saving me time and energy. I can only assume it would be the same deal with their S, M, L & XL.
  • Fairly priced. We all know quality golf clothes can run upward to $200 or more. Foray Golf is a prime example of that. If you have the money to spend, then great! If not, LIJA offers reasonable pricing ($80-$150). They also offer plenty of sale items!
  • There is something for everyone. Want a traditional skort? Check. Want something shorter? Check. Want fun prints? Check. Want something casual that you can wear on and off the course? Check and check!
  • More than just golf. I like the fact LIJA offers clothing options for other activities like yoga and running. Exercising comes in more than one form, and for me, I like to practice yoga before and after my golf matches.

Wrap Polo & Printed Flight Skort

LIJA Wrap Polo & Printed Flight Skort

Looking for a complete outfit? Then check out LIJA’s Wrap Polo & Printed Flight Skort!

The Wrap Polo is a classic sleeveless v-neck with a colorblocked collar, neckline and armhole binding. As you can see, LIJA uses a Flora print that can be found on the back panel of the polo and wraps a little onto the front panel to add a pop of color. Made out of mostly Nylon, the Wrap Polo is breathable offering a four-way stretch and moisture wicking fabric.

This gorgeous & feminine Printed Flight Skort is designed in a lightweight stretch woven fabric with a pindot texture with an all-over seasonal print. There is an asymmetrical seam down the front & back of the skort. The hem panel has an added flutter for movement & style. It’s 17″ in length.

The skort sits right above my knee. For my personal taste, it’s a bit too long. It brought back memories of the long Catholic school skirts I used to wear in high school. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but for my body type, the shorter / slimmer the better. I’m considered petite (5’3 and XS in size). As you’ll see later in this review, LIJA also offers shorter golf skorts (while still being appropriate) for courses that are a more liberal on their clothing policies. It all depends on what you feel comfortable in. This outfit is pretty and comfy, and the back pockets go deeper than I thought it would, allowing for room not only for your golf glove, but golf balls, phone, you name it!

Drill Skort

LIJA Drill Skort - Maroon

The Drill Skort is my fav!  I cannot rave about this one enough. It comes in 12 beautiful colors ranging from pink, purple, blue and white, to name a few. The ones that were sent to me were a maroon and a pink color (seen below). The Drill Skort offers a curved seamline wrap and is 13″ in length (4″ shorter than the printed flight skort). This skort fits my body perfectly and if the wind blows I have the shorts underneath to cover my tush, so I feel comfortable wearing this skort. Keep in mind it does wrinkle easily, and throwing it in the dryer doesn’t always do the job (as you can tell). So just make sure to hang it up as soon as you get it / wash it if you care about that sort of thing.

Pacer Top

LIJA Pacer Top

The Pacer Top is simple, but cute! It comes in black and white colors. There are small mesh panels at the upper arm for added detail. It has a curved hemline and is body skimming. It’s great for a chilly morning on the course. Honestly, it wouldn’t be an issue wearing it on a slightly warmer day too. I wore it on a 75 degree day and it did not make me uncomfortably warm or sweaty. Obviously the moisture wicking fabric is doing its job! What’s even better is I can also use this top while going for a run or exercising in general. This isn’t necessarily golf specific, so you’ll get your money’s worth out of it.
