11th Annual Event Returns to Ireland’s World-Class Waterville Golf Links

(DUBLIN, Ireland) – Carr Golf  – Ireland and Scotland’s premier  provider of unforgettable golf vacations – launches its 11th annual World Invitational Father & Daughter Tournament to be held July 23 –26 on County Kerry’s world-class Waterville Golf Links for the fourth consecutive year.

The flourishing event has become a mainstay on Carr Golf’s annual roster of prestigious tournaments. Highlights include three rounds of golf at Waterville, deluxe nightly accommodations, welcome reception, full Irish breakfasts each morning, tournament photo and gifts, shuttle transportation throughout and prize ceremony complemented by a BBQ dinner.

This past July, Carr Golf hosted 34 teams hailing from the U.S., Canada, Italy and Ireland. Playing out of Connecticut’s Country Club of Fairfield, Larry and Clare Foley won the 36-hole net event in the “Better Ball Stableford” format. Michael and Stephanie Sullivan of Garden City Golf Club (N.J.) won the gross division.

“This captivating tournament has been growing year-after-year as it gives participants a chance to compete, mingle and laugh with likeminded golfers from around the world,” says Marty Carr, executive chairman of Carr Golf. “Watching fathers and their daughters spend time bonding over golf on one of the most beautiful layouts in the
game is truly special.”

Prizes awarded aren’t limited to on-course play. Carly and Jared Haines of New York’s Wykagyl Country Club won this year’s award for “Best Dressed,” and Klea Armstrong of Kingsbury National Golf Club (N.Y.) was honored for “Best Social Media Post.”
